The name stands for colourfulness, spontaneity and openness. The instrumental combination of violins, clarinets, percussion, double bass and piano can hardly be described as “classical” in this ensemble. Far more, it expresses the desire of the three Steiner siblings to make music within the framework of an extended “team”. The ensemble plays in many different configurations. Each formation explores its characteristic timbre as an independent orchestra. The repertoire therefore depicts per se a colourful mix of styles and encompasses both original compositions as well as arrangements.
