The Sinfonietta da Camera Salzburg, founded in 2002, has devoted itself primarily to the music of W. A. Mozart and his contemporaries. They manage a busy concert schedule both nationally and internationally, among others at the Mid Europe music festival in Schladming, the Tauriska music festival and the Shanghai Spring Festival. Many international guest soloists, among others Ferdinand Steiner (solo clarinettist for the Mozarteum orchestra, Salzburg), Hans Jörg Angerer (Professor for French horn at the Mozarteum University, Salzburg) and Maria Hauser (soprano). Leader of the orchestra is conductor Peter WesenAuer, who has been able to collate valuable experience through his work with many national and international orchestras.
