The Ensemble, named after the Etudes- Tableaux by S. Rachmaninoff, is comprised of three musicians who all studied at the Mozarteum, Salzburg. Susanne Hehenberger, violin, studied under H. Kienzel, I. Gahl, L. Hagen and B. Schmid. She is active in the chamber music scene both nationally and internationally and is concertmaster of the Sinfonietta da Camera, Salzburg. Monika Gaggia, cello, studied under W. Tachezi and R. Aldulescu, Paris. She has worked both in radio and television as well as on various CD recordings. Kristian Aleksic, piano, studied under A. Kontarsky and K.-H. Mrongovius and has appeared with various conductors, for example, Christian Simonis, Klaus-Dieter Demmler and many others. In addition to the standard piano trios, Trio Tableaux also plays seldom performed works.
