The tenor studied singing at the Innsbruck Conservatory and at the Mozarteum, Salzburg under Horiana Branisteanu. In addition, he took part in Hartmut Höll’s master classes. Career as song, oratorio and opera singer, numerous awards. For example, he was prize-winner at the International Summer Academy Salzburg 1999. In 2002 he was voted “song artist of the season” by the Stuttgart Hugo-Wolf Academy. Guest at numerous European festivals, numerous concert tours as far afield as China and the USA.
