Studied under Jürgen Geise and Peter Schidlof (Amadeus Quartet). Solo violist at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice and at the Camerata Academica. He is professor for viola at the Mozarteum. He has been on most concert podia with the Pro-Arte-Quartett and with Sony-BMG on a complete Mozart recording. He has toured as a soloist playing the viola concerts of Telemann, Mozart, Paganini, and Hindemith. Musical cabarets and crossover projects with both humorous and serious subjects.
