After studying German language and literature and theology in Cologne, she studied singing under Ruth Hesse, among others. 16 years at the Cologne radio choir, soloist both nationally and internationally. First novel 1990: “Ein Mann für jede Tonart”. Breakthrough as author in 1993 with “Das Superweib”. Screen adaptations of many books, among others, with Veronica Ferres, Iris Berben, Katja Riemann. She has published a total of 13 novels and two children’s books to date. Television presenting: “Hera Lind und Leute” and “Herzblatt”. Classic CD and pop CD “Du wirst nie eine Dame” with her own lyrics. Children’s songs CD “Hab dein Lächeln so vermisst”. Her latest work: “Die Champagner-Diät”, May 06 published by Diana/Bertelsmann. Musical for Udo Jürgens “Mit 66 Jahren” (premiere 07), married, four children, lives in Mondsee near Salzburg.
