When we talk about Mozart’s great heritage, it shouldn’t go unmentioned that this festival is staged in a region which has also been bestowed with an abundant inheritance by Mother Nature. In order to protect this heritage, UNESCO declared the Hallstatt-Dachstein-Salzkammergut region a world heritage region. And we are doing our best to treat it as carefully as we treat Mozart’s works.

Everybody is coming and welcome!
A visit to one or several of the Salzkammergut Festival’s events hence becomes twice the experience. Unique culture in a unique natural setting is the maxim. Everybody is welcome to join in!
