It is under this heading that the Ensemble Tobias Reiser and the Salzburger Dreigesang along with Werner Friedl are organising a concert evening which promises to be informative, entertaining and an experience for both locals and guests. |

Out and about with Mozart
Mozart spent much of his life travelling. His father planned the trips in almost military fashion, enabling his son many important meetings, and familiarised him with contemporary European music culture. Mozart collected a great deal of impressions on these trips, and made artistic progress:
“In other words: what he knew when we left Salzburg was nothing compared to what he now knows. It exceeds all imagination.”
Wrote Leopold Mozart in 1764 from London to Lorenz Hagenauer regarding the musical development of his son during the first major European trip. Mozart’s music and the music of contemporaries in connection with original quotations from correspondence between the Mozarts and the humour of the “people’s actor”
Werner Friedl and Salzburg folk music ensure a unique, multifarious experience.
