If Mozart had been composing today…
There are many brass formations out there good ones, indeed even excellent ones! So why mund.ART? Because the five members on the trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba have more on their minds than a simple, high-gloss finish. It may indeed, it must offer a bit more than the diverse, cross-border, miniature mixture of old and new. The members of mund.ART gladly sport binoculars, keeping an inquisitive eye on happenings outside of the musical box. This expands the horizon and the amalgamation with the great contemporary Austrian composers, from the brilliant music satirist Werner Pirchner (Ö1 jingles, “Untergang des Abendlandes”) through to the cross-over artist Tristan Schulze, guaranteeing suspense right through to the final bar: where will they arrive, and what will it be like? Simply listen in…
